Mr. Carberry has grown up in Central Illinois. He has lived in Macon and Decatur, Illinois. After graduating from Macon (now Meridian) High School, Mr. Carberry joined the United States Army as a paratrooper. He served in Desert Storm and in Desert Shield and was honorably discharged.
Upon his discharge from the military, Mr. Carberry attended Southern Illinois University in pursuit of an undergraduate and graduate degree in Psychology and Educational Psychology respectively. In the last semester of his graduate program at Southern Illinois University, Mr. Carberry changed his focus to law, and completed a Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University. Presently, Mr. Carberry is working toward a MBA from Millikin University.
Mr. Carberry is employed by Joseph B. Taylor & Associates. His focus is Family, Criminal, Contract and General Practice. Mr. Carberry is a member of the Dewitt County Bar, and practices primarily in Dewitt, Macon and Mclean Counties.
